Sufian Bataineh, Founder & Managing Director             

The vision for Dananeer was developed by Sufian in a prize winning article titled (in French): 'La Finance Islamique: Opportunités et Challenges pour le Grand Duché de Luxembourg'. A PDF version of the article 'Prix ALJB 2008', is available for download in the 'Our Publications' section.  Sufian has worked as a legal advisor in the sectors of Corporate Law & Structure, Investment Funds & Islamic finance in Luxembourg for a major Luxembougish law firm. Prior to his work in Luxembourg, Sufian worked as a Legal Officer for the Telecoms Regulatory Commission, Jordan. He holds a BA in Law from the University of Jordan, a Master in Law (LLM in Commercial, European & International Law) from the University of Sheffield, UK, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration from the Open University Business School, UK.

Mohamed Boulif, Senior Islamic Finance Consultant, Europe

Mohamed is the lead Islamic finance consultant for Dananeer in Europe. He is responsible for leading the Dananeer consulting projects and training programmes in Europe. He has over 15 years experience in Islamic finance and is one of the leading European experts in the field. He is a visiting professor at the Strasbourg Management School and the University Paris-Dauphine where he teaches courses on the Masters in Islamic Finance. He holds, more generally, an extensive experience in finance related matter as he used to work as a Finance Director and Accountant for multinational corporations in Europe. He holds a Bachelor in Accounting Management from High School Lucien Cooremans and a Master in Applied Economics from Fucam University Mons, Belgium.
